Daryl Hawk interviews astronaut Buzz Aldrin for his TV show, "The Unconventional Traveler." Hawk tapes the show at the Waldorf Astoria in which Mr. Aldrin shares his life as an astronaut and the Apollo 11 moon landing expedition in 1969. This show will begin airing in May on cablevision of Connecticut. Rarely seen before video footage of Mr. Aldrin on the moon will be highlighted in this documentary.

March, 2008
Daryl Hawk releases his second published book entitled "Quiet Moments". This custom printed hard cover book consists of Hawk's favorite 120 black and white photographs taken over the past 25 years. Nature and nautical landscapes and abstracts, New York City scenes, and misc. travel landscapes and portraits are all featured!

February, 2008
An article entitled "The Cabin" that Daryl Hawk wrote and featuring black and white landscapes and nature abstracts taken in New Hampshire will be featured in Shutterbug Magazine.

"High Adventure in Bolivia", a slide show and lecture presented to the Appalacian Mountain Club in Westport, CT

"Quiet Moments", black and white nature and nautical landscapes and abstracts on exhibit at the Wilton Public Library. All photographs are for sale. For the past 25 years, Hawk has traveled on the backroads of New England and along the coastline by boat shooting indepth documentaries and telling stories with his camera. This will be the first public viewing of these images which are also being used for a book to be published in 2008.
